Q: What makes custom woven patches different from embroidered patches?
Woven patches are produced on a loom, creating a thinner, smoother patch that reproduces extremely fine detail — small text, gradients, and intricate logos come out crisp. Embroidered patches have a raised, textured look that's bolder but less precise.
Q: What size woven patches can you make?
We produce from 1 inch up to 6+ inches. Most popular: 2-3 inches for woven patches on hats, 3-4 inches for jackets and uniforms.
Q: Are woven patches durable?
Extremely. The design is woven into the fabric rather than printed or stitched on top, so woven patches resist fading, fraying, and wear through hundreds of wash cycles. Iron on woven patches attach permanently and will last for the entire lifespan of your product.
Q: Can woven patches include small text?
Yes — this is where woven patches excel. The weaving process reproduces text as small as 2mm, ideal for patches with names, slogans, or detailed information.

Edge Options
Our woven patches offer two edge options: Merrowed and Laser cut. The standard Mer- rowed edge, created with a specialized machine, features a wrap-around stitch with a width of 1⁄8 inch, ideal for square or circular shapes. For intricate designs or smaller patches, the Laser cut edge is recommended. This state-of-the-art process utilizes cutting-edge laser technology to precisely cut the patch along the custom shape of the design, providing greater flexibility.
Customize with Versions
Customize your woven patch with the ability to add versions. A ‘version’ is a minor modifica- tion or variation in your artwork. Changes in colors fall under the version category as well as small text changes (ie. personalized names). Please note that any significant changes to the artwork or design, such as changing shapes, or size of the patch, do not fall under ‘ver- sions’ and must be processed as separate orders. We charge a flat fee of $25 for each version change.
